Great Mills Strong

In my latest video, I wanted to show the world the amazing community we have here in Southern Maryland especially after the tragic event that took place on March 20, 2018. This one really hits home. I grew up in Great Mills, went to school at Great Mills High School, and pass the school everyday. Winson Media LLC is based in Great Mills, Maryland. The media would only report the negative aspect of this event. I wanted to change the narrative and show the people the positive side, the stories that this community really needed to see.

Semi-Finalist at the Los Angeles Cinefest | Drone Cinematography

Winson Media receives another recognition. This time being a Semi-Finalist at the Los Angeles Cinefest. This adds another nomination for the  “Hope Edventures – Snow Covered Southern Maryland Drone” video in the past couple of years. Originally nominated and screened at the 2016 Southern Maryland Film Festival and the 2017 North Beach American Film Festival. It was also screened at the Charles County Mini-Fest at the Black Box Theatre in Indian Head, Maryland and shown on ABC WJLA Washington D.C and several other news outlets.

Film Jury Nominated and Screening at NBAFF – Drone Cinematography

Winson Media is proud to announce that our video “Hope Edventures – Snow Covered Southern Maryland Drone” (Original YouTube post) has been jury nominated at another film festival.  If you haven’t seen the original video, the link is provided above. This film was jury nominated last year in the Southern Maryland Film Festival. This time it has been jury nominated at the North Beach American Film Festival happening this weekend from June 23 – 25.  To view a list of the other nominees, visit http://www.nbaff.org/award-nominees. The screen time for “Hope Edventures” will be between 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM. The full schedule of the Film Festival can be viewed on NBAFF’s website.
